COVID-19 and New York State on PAUSE

Please be advised that Executive Order {202.6} enacted by New York's Governor Andrew Cuomo, effective Sunday March 22, 2020 at 8PM, requires the closure of all non-essential businesses and non-essential workforce are prohibited from working outside the home.

Real Estate Professionals have not been deemed "essential workforce" therefore in response to this Executive Order, Gorick Realty is suspending any in-person activities until further notice. It's our desire to comply with these Executive requirements; doing our part in helping to prevent the continued spread of this devastating disease.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to all those affected by this international pandemic. The well-being of our clients is a primary concern for us. We look forward to having the opportunity to be of service to you in-person again once it is deemed safe to do so.  Thank you.

2922 Barnes Ave, Apt 3H, Bronx, NY 10467: NOT for RENT

  • Gorick Realty SOLD this Co-op apartment for $87,500 in an all cash transaction on 3/29/17 therefore it is no longer available.

  • Our brokerage firm (Gorick Realty, Inc.) held the exclusive contract to sell this apartment.

  • The current owner of apartment 3H at 2922 Barnes Ave is NOT renting it out nor was the former owner ever renting it out.

  • This is a co-op building with apartments available for sale, it is not a rental building.

  • This apartment is NOT available for rent at all, under any circumstances.

  • If you see something on craigslist or anywhere else on the internet advertising this apartment as a rental, it is a SCAM.

  • Detective Popowich of the NYPD 49th pct is investigating complaints regarding this scam.

  • To file a complaint or if you've sent money and/or personal information to someone promising to send you keys to the apartment then you can contact Detective Popowich via email: [email protected] or phone: (718) 918-2038

PLEASE NOTE: You should always trust your instincts and be aware that if something seems too good to be true then it probably is. We do not have any 1-bedroom rentals available for $750 per month in an elevator building that has a laundry room in the basement. The 1-bedroom rentals that we have available through Gorick Realty, Inc. start at $1,700 per month (minimum) and go up from there. If you're on a tight budget, we suggest that you check the NYC housing lottery which is a legitimate resource for low to moderate priced apartments.  You can apply directly to the management company for available apartments and do not need the assistance of a Real Estate Broker nor will you have to pay a real estate brokerage commission.
